According to a Yunus Emre Institute report dated 24 November 2023, representatives from its Beirut office visited Turkish classes for children and adults in Aydamoun, Akkar. They assessed needs and introduced teaching materials.
The institute described Aydamoun as the first step in a course program for areas where Lebanon’s Turkmens live and said it intended to expand the activity.
